In preparation for the upcoming season, the website has undergone a series of updates.  These changes include:

Done:

The Schedules have been current.
Teams and players have been added to the 2017-2018 season.
Team and Individual Standings Pages have been prepared for league data (These will not properly populate until schedules are updated and first matches are played.)
The Locations page has been updated.
The 2016 Archive has been created in Past Seasons.
The Captain’s List has been made current.
All Registered Teams have been updated for the new season.

To Do:
The Rules Page will be updated.
The Bullpen will be made current (if you’d like to add your name to the bullpen, please email djmichaelbasic@gmail.com with your full name, email, phone number and if you can play Tuesday, Wednesday, or Both.

We are getting close to the registration deadline and are short on teams.  If you haven’t already done so, please register your team ASAP!

We plan to start the league on September 19th and 20th.

As some of you may know, former President and long time member of the Westside 8 Ball League, Harry Young, passed away a little over a week ago.

A memorial service will be held at Angeles Funeral Home on Saturday, June 3rd, at 2pm.  The address is 3875 s. Crenshaw Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90008.

Harry’s Brother, George, has asked that anyone who would like to come please contact me at djmichaelbasic@gmail.com or 323-304-2540 to RSVP so that he has an accurate head count for the caterer.

Please RSVP by Wednesday, March 31st.

Congratulations to Tuesday Night’s first place team – Cozy Inn 4, the top shooters Tod Lofing and Joe Pacchanelli (honorable mention to Mike Waddles who had the same amount of wins but more losses, thus, a lower percentage) and the female top shooter Angela Aquino!

Note that if your team still owes money, you must contact Mike directly to turn in any remaining owed dues.  If your team only owes $10, you don’t have to worry about turning it in as that $10 is for the website repair and will be taken out of your prize fund without penalty.

The Tuesday night league’s season is complete, however there is still a makeup match to be played for Wednesday tonight.  If your team still has outstanding dues at this point, you must contact me directly to set up a delivery of the remaining money this week or you will be fined as per the rules of the league.  To see if your team still owes money, check the Tuesday and Wednesday Schedule and Standings pages.

Note that if you do not pay the $10/team cost of the website repair, I will take it out of your end of season payout but I will not levy a fine against that fee since it came up so close to the end of the season.

These sheets must be turned in by the end of the week or you will be fined for the total of both teams dues for these weeks.
