Our end of season event capped off our post pandemic pool season yesterday with great attendance. We are excited to get back to a full season this September. No new rules or rule changes were voted in, the current officers were left in place, and all teams were paid out. A scotch doubles tournament was held with the following results:
1st place: Maxwell Brooks & Joe Omole $56
2nd place: Jared Piraneo & Logan Rodas $42
3rd place: Noah Bodzin & Michael Conrad $28
4th place: Jonathan Gesinsky & J’vert “L-7” Johnson $14
On behalf on our president Pete Savino, Vice President Angela Aquino, and myself Mike Schwartz, I want to thank everyone for getting things going again and helping our league continue to thrive.
As noted, all $20 BCA registrations were refunded due to the fact that BCA changed the rules mid season, requiring 8 weeks to qualify instead of the initial 4. We will qualify everyone in September for the 2023 season so there is no adverse effect by not qualifying anyone now.
